YEREVAN. – Our compatriots have a non-serious attitude towards the disease, even up to this moment. Deputy speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, stated this in a talk with journalists in the NA Thursday.

"We [the residents of Armenia] have a problem of awareness. (…). Now, we all need to follow our fellow citizens, say [to them], ‘Wear a [face] mask, straighten your mask.’ And we will discuss the rest at the end when it will be clear which country, which government, which minister, which society responded better to this situation," he added in particular.

And to the remark that Armenia’s opposition proposes to set up an inquiry committee after the end of all this and to expose the culprits, the NA deputy speaker said: "I believe that if there is a need for it, a committee of inquiry also can be set up; we have no concerns about that."
