YEREVAN. – The sale of natural gas for $300 per 1,000 cubic meters to the population is a myth. Hrant Tadevosyan, Executive Director of Gazprom Armenia, stated this Thursday.

According to him, the average price of natural gas for Armenia’s consumers is not $300, it has been and remains at the level of $255, whereas the aforesaid price is manipulation.

"Out of $90, $43 go to taxes, $12—to damages, $19—to salaries; that’s why there can be no talk of superprofits by the company," he added.
