With the proposed price of $283,14 per 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas, Gazprom Armenia plans to have AMD 60,000,000,000 margin in ten years and make investments worth AMD 230,000,000,000, without which there might be problems with natural gas supplies in the future — a problem that has never existed ever since the company started supplying natural gas in 1997. This is what Executive Director of Gazprom Armenia Hrant Tadevosyan said during a discussion held by the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia today.

According to him, the problems are linked to the fact that the natural gas system is wearing out. “The company has to not only make investments, but also cover the current expenditures. It is necessary to balance the interests of the supplier and consumers, but today, only consumers benefit from the situation,” he stated.
