YEREVAN. – Specialists at the Alikhanian National Science Laboratory (Yerevan Physics Institute) have created protective masks made of corn oil. Ani Aprahamian, the director of this lab, informed this during Thursday's press conference.

She added that they work by using basalt nanotubes and nanoparticles on the filters of these masks. Aprahamian noted that these masks are ecologically clean, and they include materials with which toys are made. "It is suitable for multiple use; that is, it can be disinfected and reused. There are no such masks in the Armenian market yet,” she noted.
