Former chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Yuri Khachaturov is the only invitee who didn’t come to an interview with the parliamentary committee leading a probe into the circumstances behind the Four-Day Artsakh War. This is what chair of the committee Andranik Kocharyan told reporters today.

“The committee said it was ready to hold a session at night so that he could come and answer questions, but he didn’t come, and this sparked many doubts. The committee has completed its activities, but there are other bodies that will explore the circumstances that sparked questions and problems. If there are any questions, those bodies will ask Khachaturov those questions,” he said, adding that the National Assembly of Armenia is currently considering a bill on making amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly according to which those invited to probe committees for defense can’t reject an invitation, regardless of their position.
