There are no dramatic changes in the Karabakh settlement, but optimism remains, said Russian MFA spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

According to her, Moscow stands for 'a political settlement of this protracted, prolonged crisis through talks.' 

“We will do our best as a neighboring country, as a country that is linked by a long history of friendship, interaction, and cooperation with these countries to make our constructive contribution,” she said noting the role of Russia as an intermediary participating in the work of the Minsk Group.
