AMD 1.5 trillion came to Armenia's state budget in 2019, which is 16.7% or about AMD 223 billion more than in 2018, said deputy PM Mher Grigoryan.

His remarks came Friday during the discussion of the report on the implementation of the state budget for 2019.

At the same time, state budget expenses in 2019 amounted to nearly AMD 1.6 trillion, which is 92.4% of the annual adjusted program.

“Compared to 2018, state budget expenses increased by 12.6% or about AMD 182 billion,” he added.

Grigoryan noted that the state budget for 2019 was implemented with a deficit of AMD 64 billion, thereby making 41.6% of the program index. Compared to 2018, the deficit decreased by 39.3%. The deficit to GDP ratio in 2019 was 1% compared with the forecast of 2.2% and 1.8% in 2018.
