YEREVAN. – The year 2019 was productive to Armenia’s police officers in terms of payments. Chief of Police, Arman Sargsyan, stated this during Friday’s debates on the 2019 state budget performance report, at the joint sitting of the standing committees of the National Assembly.

According to him, 2019 was quite productive in terms of the living standards of the country’s police officers, as their incomes increased in the year past. "The police really felt the opportunity to get a lot of money. They can accept it as a positive change in their social life," Sargsyan added.
