Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Commandant for the state of emergency Tigran Avinyan and Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan today paid visits to Nork Infection Clinic Hospital and Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center where they were introduced to the conditions, treatment procedures and current problems, as well as toured the units and asked patients about their health conditions.

The Deputy Prime Minister particularly focused on the medical equipment at the reanimation units and the potential of computed tomography.

At Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, Avinyan and Torosyan were introduced to the work that is underway for construction of a new unit to provide services for patients with COVID-19.

The Deputy Prime Minister attached importance to maximum expansion of the potential and resources of the healthcare system from the perspective of providing more quality and timely medical services to the population for the fight against the coronavirus.
