The German government will not evacuate German citizens who became infected with COVID-19 during their vacation trips abroad, said German FM Heiko Maas in an interview with Bild am Sonntag.

According to him, in urgent cases, German consular missions will be ready to provide the necessary support, but the German government will not be able to once again organize a flight.
