Head of Lanjaghbyur village of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province Yurik Baghdasaryan today told Armenian News-NEWS.am that a female paramedic had tested positive for coronavirus three days ago.

“She had brought her daughter-in-law to Astghik Hospital and thinks she contracted the virus at the hospital. She had a fever, underwent a checkup, tested positive and is now undergoing treatment with two-sided pneumonia,” the village head said.

Before learning that she was infected, the female paramedic had visited two patients in the village, and now those patients and the female paramedic’s family are self-isolated.
