After the pandemic ends and even before the end, we need to examine and see how most political parties have behaved during the pandemic. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during a briefing held after the session of the Commandant’s Office today.

“We need to examine and give an evaluation of the extent to which their actions have helped overcome the pandemic and the extent to which they have contributed to the spread of the pandemic. Since there are many people who are comparing the pandemic with a war, I would like to say that during any war, even in the most democratic country, people and forces who carry out destructive actions receive the evaluation they deserve,” he said.

As far as the claim that Armenia has lost the battle against the coronavirus is concerned, the Prime Minister said the following: “Armenia has lost the battle as much as other countries such as the US, France, Belgium, Great Britain, the Russian Federation, Sweden, Germany and many other developed and highly developed countries. If the Armenian government has lost the battle, it means all mankind has lost the battle against the coronavirus and civilization in general. Yes, the Armenian government has as many problems with the battle against the coronavirus as do several countries and all mankind,” Pashinyan declared.
