Through combination of sufficient evidence obtained during preliminary investigation into the criminal case investigated by the Special Investigation Service of Armenia, the fact that Head of the Expert Examinations Unit of the Police of Armenia in Lori Province Armen Amiraghyan used his official position contrary to the interests of service and committed concealment (not promised in advance) of tools for commission of a particularly grave crime, has been justified, as reported the Special Investigation Service.

Amiraghyan has been charged with abuse of official authority and concealment of crime.

Preliminary investigation of the crime is over, and the case, along with the indictment, has been forwarded to the prosecutor conducting oversight with the motion to approve and forward it to the court.
