YEREVAN. – No matter how much we say that monopolistic phenomena—especially in the oil product market—have reduced [in Armenia] after 2018, it does not mean that they have disappeared. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the government.

"We have a lot to do here in connection with protecting the rights of our consumers, as well as promoting competition. (…). We must not allow any artificial monopoly from the Republic of Armenia to the end and without exception. People should have the opportunity to acquire quality and as cheap a product as possible," Pashinyan added, in particular.
