US intelligence has reported to the Trump administration that there is no direct evidence that Moscow tried to offer monetary rewards to Afghan militia for killing American soldiers, a source in the American intelligence community said, The New York Times reported.

According to them, the US intelligence officers on Wednesday submitted a 2.5-page document to the Trump administration, which summarizes the data on the basis of which earlier statements in the newspaper were made about Russia.

The text, according to the newspaper’s sources, notes that the CIA and the National Counterterrorism Center believe that the respective data obtained are of average reliability.

At the same time, the document emphasizes that this information cannot directly confirm the authenticity of the allegations about the aforesaid actions attributed to Moscow.

At the same time, the paper notes that some other US intelligence agencies, including the National Security Agency, have even less reliable information on the matter.
