The UK government announced a large package of aid to the country's famous art and cultural institutions.
"Britain’s globally renowned arts, culture and heritage industries will receive a world-leading £1.57 billion rescue package to help weather the impact of coronavirus," the UK government said in a statement.
According to Tamara Rojo, Artistic Director of English National Ballet, 'this package gives our sector a fighting chance of survival.'
Some UK art institutions are reopening after quarantine, including The National Gallery in London.
