YEREVAN. – The debate in the world continues whether or not there are cases of being infected again; at any rate, we do not have such a case. Armenia’s Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan stated this Tuesday during a meeting with journalists, and regarding COVID-19.

"The [respective] reports should not be viewed only on a national scale, but around the world. The fact of being infected is due to the longevity of the immune system. As long as we don't have the answer to that question, we don't have the answer to the possibility of being infected again. That's why we have to be careful, as we can't be 100% sure that we won't get infected again if we were infected, gotten better. I can say that other acute respiratory infections do not cause long-term immunity," he said.
