YEREVAN. – The healthcare system is not having good days, it is working very tensely—both in terms of work and in terms of risks and volumes, but at least the medical institutions involved in the treatment of coronavirus diseases are being treated appropriately to their work—in terms of finances, satisfaction of job condition, as well as there is no reduction or slowdown in terms of other state healthcare programs. Armenia’s Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan mentioned this during a meeting with journalists Tuesday.

"The problem is different when it comes to paid medical services because there is a decline, both in other sectors of the economy and in health care, which can lead to declining wages for healthcare workers, disrupting the financial instability in medical facilities. We should try to pass this period with as few losses as possible," Torosyan emphasized.
