Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today conveyed a telegram of condolence to Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe on the occasion of the devastating flood and landslides that took place on Kyushu Island, as reported the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Government of Armenia.

The telegram reads as follows:

“Your Excellency,

I was saddened by the news about the devastating flood and landslides that took place on Kyushu Island. I express my sincere condolences to you and the friendly Japanese people on the dozens of human deaths and destruction.

I am certain that the resolute actions of the Japanese government will allow the government to quickly eliminate the consequences of this disaster.

I express my condolences to the people of Japan, wishing the victims’ relatives and close ones endurance and valor, and I wish the victims speedy recovery.”
