US President Donald Trump said his administration is considering banning TikTok as one of the possible ways to reciprocate China for its response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bloomberg reported.

“It’s something we’re looking at, yes,” Trump said when asked in an interview with Gray Television’s Greta Van Susteren about Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s remarks. “It’s a big business. Look, what happened with China with this virus, what they’ve done to this country and to the entire world is disgraceful.”

Trump did not provide any details regarding the possible decision.

He only noted that the TikTok ban is “one of many” ways that he is considering in response to the actions of the Chinese authorities to the COVID-19.
