YEREVAN. – We cannot have an impact on economic policy by being a supporter from the side, or a teammate. Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan stated this Thursday during a remote meeting with his supporters.

"Economic policy can be impacted only by being within the government circles. The executive power of the Republic of Armenia is responsible for the economic consequences and the situation. Now, how we can impact these processes is a bit facultative. Of course, we cannot have a direct impact, but by criticizing, showing a way, nevertheless, we must try to do something possible to alleviate the worries of our people. This is a very small opportunity, especially during halls of power when they are not ready to listen to anyone—especially to analysts, specialists, economists, politicians who have an oppositional stance," Kocharyan added.

Also, the ex-President assured that they will offer a vision when this team will be formed as a political unit, and in that case, this vision will be the obligatory component of this team in order to present itself to the public.
