Head of the Bright Armenia opposition faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Edmon Marukyan today posted on his Facebook page that he has visited the family of resident of Nerkin Khndzoresk village Narek Sardaryan, who has been missing for the past two days.

“We visited the family of resident of Nerkin Khndzoresk village Narek Sardaryan.

Narek went after cattle at 10 a.m. on July 8 and never returned. The cattle in the villages of the territory are kept in grazing fields close to Azerbaijan’s military posts. Rescuers are searching for Narek. During my conversation with the family, I tried to find out details and the possible versions.

The government has to put in all of its efforts to reveal this case quickly and return the citizen to his family, and in general, it has to carry out awareness-raising activities in borderline villages.

The International Committee of the Red Cross is also informed, and we hope to receive good news about Narek Sardaryan soon.”
