In the early morning of Saturday, policemen tried to disperse traders from the market near Vazgen Sargsyan Stadium in Yerevan, where people were selling some antique stuff.

“The City Hall decided that this territory should be liberated,” said one of the protesters noting that the authorities want people to trade in places with no customers.

Traders want to sell here at least until August 15, until a way out is found. “So that we at least understand what we will do next,” one of the protesters told a representative of the city hall.

The sides agreed to allow trade until August 15 to discuss all possible options.

One of the protesters has been apprehended.
