YEREVAN. – The Seismic Protection Service of Armenia on Sunday recorded a magnitude-4.2 earthquake in Georgia, at 9:54am local time, 21 km southeast of Bakuriani town, reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

It measured magnitude 5-6 at the epicenter.

The hypocenter of this seismic activity was 10 kilometers beneath the surface.

The quake was felt in Armenia, too—with magnitude 2-3 in Noyemberyan town, magnitude 2 in Alaverdi town, and magnitude 2 in Koghb village.
