I have not stopped the struggle, I have promised you and I promise that together we will oust [PM] Nikol Pashinyan from the helm of the halls of power of the Republic of Armenia because sitting there, he is busy earning his own glory and money and destroying the Republic of Armenia and the people of the Republic of Armenia. Mikael Minasyan, Armenia’s former Ambassador to the Holy See and son-in-law of ex-President Serzh Sargsyan, said this Sunday in his new video where he answers the questions of Facebook users.
In particular, he answered a user's question why he stopped his videos, withdrew from the struggle, and that "there are rumors that he reached agreement with Nikol, and therefore stopped publishing the videos."
"I have no right to reach agreement with Nikol Pashinyan. I could have reached agreement when he made me an offer in Rome, I could have reached agreement when he sent someone over the phone and asked to reach agreement, stop our 'End of Lies' [video series], and he would stop the criminal prosecution [against me], but I can’t even think of that," Minasyan said.
Referring to the aforesaid Facebook user's question as to when the coronavirus will end in Armenia, Minasyan said that the coronavirus will end when the state actually fights against it.
"But Nikol Pashinyan has never fought against the coronavirus for a second. Nikol Pashinyan has made the coronavirus his closest friend because using the coronavirus, he is able to explain why people [in Armenia] live worse every day than the day before. The coronavirus has absolutely nothing to do with it, as Nikol Pashinyan has failed Armenia's economic development, and he has done so before the coronavirus. Besides, Nikol Pashinyan uses this period to pass laws in the National Assembly that have nothing to do with the coronavirus, or the economy," Minasyan said, adding that the adoption of the Lanzarote Convention, for example, has nothing to do with the coronavirus.
According to Minasyan, 700 people—the average population of a village in Armenia—have died of COVID-19 in the country because of Nikol Pashinyan and his teammates.
"I can't reach agreement with a man who killed 700 people with his gang. Despite all my faults, I have always slept with a clear conscience, and my conscience is clear now, too. And the people who are trying to defend Nikol Pashinyan, remember that you are defending a murderer because of whom a village amount of people have died. And as long as there is Nikol Pashinyan, there is no light at the end of the tunnel because Nikol Pashinyan is at the end of the tunnel,” Mikael Minasyan added.
