Armenian defense ministry spokesperson said that Azerbaijanis have resumed resume provocative actions in the morning.

"After two-three hours of pause, in the morning the opponent resumed the provocative actions, continuing to shell in the direction of the Armenian positions. The Armenian armed forces gave an adequate response. It is not ruled out that the number of the losses of opponent will increase," Defense Ministry spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan wrote on her Facebook.

At around 12:30 pm on Sunday, the servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces attempted to violate the state border of the Republic of Armenia, in the direction of Tavush Province, and with an UAZ-model vehicle, Shushan Stepanyan, spokesperson for the defense minister of Armenia, wrote on her Facebook page on Sunday.

"After the warning of the Armenian side, the Azerbaijani servicemen returned to their position, leaving the UAZ-model vehicle behind.

At 1:45 pm, the servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces repeated—using artillery fire—the attempt to seize the border position of the Armenian Armed Forces, but were suppressed by the Armenian side and driven back, suffering casualties. There are no casualties on the Armenian side," she added.
