The COVID-19 situation in Armenia is improving, but anti-epidemiological rules should be observed, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan told a briefing on Wednesday.

“Even with the naked eye, it is noticeable that Armenian citizens, our dear compatriots, perceive these figures as a reason for non-compliance with anti-epidemiological rules. Many people even think that the COVID-19 situation has been overcome, while this is by no means the case. We had 288 new cases yesterday, which is less than in July, but this is still a large number, and the epidemiological situation in Armenia continues to remain difficult," he added.

"Our task continues remains unchanged, and amid optimism, anti-epidemiological rules must be observed even more strictly," he said.
