YEREVAN. – The defense team of third President Serzh Sargsyan has issued a statement on the release disseminated by the Special Investigation Service (SIS), and regarding the detention of Robert Nazaryan, former mayor of Yerevan and ex-chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia (RA). The statement reads as follows:
"Referring to the unnecessary manipulation of the name of RA third President Serzh Sargsyan in the message which the Special Investigation Service disseminated a while ago, we consider it necessary to emphasize that we understand the aspirations of the Service to present the news at a better top, but we urge to remain within the boundaries of providing clear, not manipulative information to the public."
