The President of China became the first state leader to send a congratulatory telegram to the current Belarusian president Aleksandr Lukashenko, Sputnik-Belarus reported.

He congratulated the incumbent head of the Belarusian state on his victory in the presidential election, the Telegram channel Pool Pervy reported.

At the same time, the Poole channel first noted that China's leader was the first to send a congratulatory telegram to the president.

Today, at a briefing, the head of the Central Election Commission, Lidia Yermoshina, announced the preliminary data of voting in the presidential elections, according to which 80.23% of Belarusian voters cast their votes for the incumbent head of state.
