Armenia continues to “lead” the region in the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths per one million people, as per Worldometers.

Accordingly, as of Wednesday, the number of cases per one million people was 13,764, and the number of deaths—272 in the country.

In line with the data per one million people, the respective “picture” in the region is as follows: Armenia ranks first with 13,764 people, Russia is second (6,185 people), Iran is third (3,967 people), Azerbaijan is fourth (3,333 people), Turkey is fifth (2,894 people), and Georgia—320 people.

Also, Armenia is followed by Iran (226), Russia (105), Turkey (70), Azerbaijan (49), and Georgia (4) in the number of deaths per one million people.
