The government on Thursday approved the 24th measure to neutralize COVID-19’s economic consequences in Armenia, whereby it will assist the grape growers, winemakers, and brandy makers of the country.

The coronavirus has had a direct impact on the results of the brandy and wine making organizations; minister of economy Tigran Khachatryan noted about this at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

He informed that in accordance with the aforesaid measure, subsidized loans will be provided to grape suppliers as well as brandy and wine companies, and the government will fully subsidize the interests on these loans.
