According to a decree signed Wednesday by President Arayik Haroutyunyan, the emergency situation that was declared in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on April 12, and regarding the COVID-19 situation, has been extended again—this time until 10pm on September 11.

And on Thursday, Artsakh Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Zhirayr Mirzoyan, who is also Commandant of the current emergency situation, signed decisions based on this decree.

According to one of the decisions, entry to Artsakh has been facilitated for persons who are not its citizens. Accordingly, as of Thursday, the Commandant’s permission is no longer required for them to enter Artsakh, but a PCR test with a negative result is required.
