Today the Embassy of Russia in Armenia called us all and said we will be able to travel to Russia in two to three days and that Russia already has an agreement with Georgia. This is what Artur Aynazyan, who has been at Bagratashen border checkpoint since July 30, told Armenian News-NEWS.am today.

“All citizens of Armenia need to get tested for COVID-19 so that 72 hours doesn’t expire. If they are tested positive, they can’t travel to Russia. As for citizens of Russia, they will get tested in Russia,” Artur Aynazyan said.

Due to the coronavirus, Russia-based citizens of Armenia are having trouble crossing the border. There was no response to the demonstrations in front of the Embassy of Russia, and the citizens were compelled to go to the extreme and left for Bagratashen border checkpoint on July 30 so that they could be transported to Russia.

Earlier, Artur Ayvazyan had told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the Russian Embassy had finally responded, asked for data so that it could reach an agreement with Georgia and transport them.
