Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan did not agree that his government's actions in the fight against COVID-19 were a failure. He stated about this in an interview with the BBC's HARDtalk program, excerpts from which are presented by the BBC Russian service.

Pashinyan said it was too early to make assessments in this regard, and he did not comment on the fact that several times fewer coronavirus cases have been reported in neighboring Georgia.

And when asked why he was spotted without a face mask during a banquet during the peak of COVID-19, Pashinyan said he had followed the respective rules of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) where this event was being held.
