The Tourism Committee of Armenia has issued the following statement:

“As a result of the gradual lifting of restrictions, persons who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia have been allowed to enter Armenia.

Currently, the procedure for visits is the following:

A medical checkup for the existence of the coronavirus or detection of symptoms of the coronavirus is conducted immediately after entry into the territory of the Republic of Armenia. After the relevant check-up, the person entering into the territory will self-isolate for 14 days, if the person is not hospitalized or there are no other restrictions against the person in case of existence of symptoms.

The self-isolated person can voluntarily pay to take a PSR test for diagnosis of COVID-19. Moreover, during self-isolation, the sample required for PSR testing must be taken exclusively in the place of self-isolation of the person during a visit by laboratory experts. If the result of the PSR test is negative, the person will no longer self-isolate.

In addition to the list of laboratories, the PSR test is conducted at almost all private medical centers.
