Armenian citizens can again make use of the visa-free regime with China.

According to Anna Naghdalyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, this visa-free regime, which was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has now been reinstated.

Now Armenian citizens can travel to China without a visa only if they have certain documents, including a negative result of a coronavirus test that was conducted at a medical facility noted by the Chinese embassy in Yerevan; and this test must be taken within three days prior to leaving for China.

To note however, the aforesaid refers to trips to China that last no more than 90 days. Otherwise, a visa will be required to stay in China longer.
