Armenia attaches great importance to Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan’s visit to the Middle East. This is what deputy of the ruling My Step Alliance Tatevik Hayrapetyan declared during the hour of announcements in parliament today.

She particularly stated that the Middle East is becoming more and more significant, taking into consideration the importance of security issues. “It is safe to state that, with this visit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia is placing into circulation Armenia’s strategy on cooperation with countries of the Middle East which underlies state interest. The active and mutually beneficial cooperation with our colleagues in the Middle East will strengthen Armenia’s positions in the region.

In this context, it is important to state that Armenia’s foreign minister has presented the country’s position on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict correctly. The Middle East is of great significance for Armenia in terms of security,” Hayrapetyan stressed.
