The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia on Wednesday continues its regular sittings of the fall session.

There are 57 matters on the agenda.

The previous two days the parliament debated on the matter of electing new judges of the Constitutional Court, and on Tuesday, it elected all three respective candidates.

As reported earlier, the government had nominated Edgar Shatiryan as a judge of the Constitutional Court, the President—Artur Vagharshyan, and the General Assembly of Judges—Yervand Khundkaryan.

On Tuesday, the legislature also debated on the matter of electing a new chair of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs. As Mane Tandilyan—a member of the Bright Armenia faction—had renounced her parliamentary seat due to health problems, the faction had nominated Arkadi Khachatryan for the post, and he was elected to the position.
