During the selection of judges of the Constitutional Court, there were also people and circles who wanted to talk about the values of the revolution in Armenia. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during a question-and-answer session with government officials in parliament today.

“They were constantly trying to compare the situation with the values of the revolution. One got the impression that the political team that led the revolution has no idea about the values of the revolution. I would like to say that this is not the case. In any situation, there are groups and forces that want to push their agenda, interests and candidates forward and speak on behalf of the public,” Pashinyan said.

Pashinyan declared that the crisis surrounding the Constitutional Court is over and added that this doesn’t mean that an ideal Constitutional Court has been formed.

As far as the government’s candidate for judge of the Constitutional Court is concerned, Pashinyan stated that the government decided to nominate Edgar Shatiryan after discussions.
