The authorities release all data regarding the spread of the coronavirus. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan declared during a question-and-answer session in parliament today.

According to him, it is safe to confirm that not all countries release the real data.

“Armenia is not one of those countries. However, there are countries that release data that are surprisingly similar to the data that Armenia releases. The results of COVID-19 tests show the existence of the virus in only 5-6 percent of cases, and infected citizens are now more careful than before and follow all the instructions. There have been people who said there is no such thing as the coronavirus, but now it turned out that it is necessary to lead an effective battle against the virus. If opposition MPs wish to launch an inquiry, good luck,” the Prime Minister said.

In March, Pashinyan had declared that the coronavirus is similar to influenza.
