Armenia doesn’t have a state strategy on education, science, culture and sport. This is what chairman of the Youth Union of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party Argishti Gevogyan said before the march which is about to launch from the area near the Matenadaran, adding that the situation in these sectors is chaotic and that there is a management crisis.

“Armenia doesn’t even have any hope for systemic reforms, but it does have a minister who is illiterate and makes irresponsible statements contradicting that which is national and progressive. The current minister of education, science, culture and sport is a person who is not only incapable of solving any problem, but is also constantly creating new crisis and whose policy contradicts national interests. We reject Arayik Harutyunyan and the chaos in the sectors,” he said.

The speech was followed by the launch of the march towards the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

The participants of the march are screaming “Arayik, Leave”.

As reported earlier, the Youth Union of the Armenia Chapter of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party is holding a march under the title “For National and Progressive Education” today.

The march will kick off from the area near the Matenadaran and will pass through Mashtots Avenue, Amiryan Street and will end in front of the building of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

The participants of the march will demand Minister Arayik Harutyunyan’s resignation for the chaos in the spheres of education, science, culture and sport and the anti-national policy that he is leading and calling it reforms.
