Levada-Center of Russia has determined the attitude of Russians towards foreign countries.

The analytical center has conducted a survey whose respondents were asked to name the countries that they believe are friendly or hostile to Russia.

Accordingly, Belarus (58%), China (40%), Kazakhstan (35%), Armenia (17%), and Azerbaijan (15%) were the top five countries that Russians consider friends and allies of Russia.

As per the respondents, Australia, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Italy, Pakistan, Romania, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, the Czech Republic, and Hungary are less hostile to Russia. But 2 percent of the respondents considered these countries “unfriendly.”

In 2019, 22 percent of the respondents had considered Armenia a friendly and allied country.
