Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan on Thursday received the delegation led by USAID Armenia Mission Director  Deborah Grieser, who is completing her mission in the country.

Harutyunyan thanked the USAID for the effective joint work in the last two years.

Noting that the last two years of her mission in Armenia were considerably different from the period before the 2018 revolution in the country, Grieser spoke of her willingness to assist the joint work, meetings, and reforms with their partners at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia.

Also Grieser introduced—via video link—her colleague David Hoffman—who will soon replace her as the new USAID Armenia Mission Director—to the ministry officials.

Hoffman, in turn, expressed the hope that their effective bilateral cooperation will continue during his aforementioned tenure, too.
