Two cars collided Sunday on the Yerevan-Gyumri motorway, shamshyan.com reported.

Two people died on the spot as a result of the collision, and seven others suffered injuries and were taken to Talin town medical center.

A criminal case has been initiated on the incident.

Those gathered at the scene said that the dead were husband and wife.
