YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday chaired a consultation on the draft state budget for 2021.

Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan referred to the 2021 budget process and presented its macroeconomic and fiscal framework.

Also, a number of respective proposals were made.

The PM, for his part, underscored the targeting of sectoral benchmarks by the logic of program budgeting, and the active application of this component in the drafting of the aforesaid budget.

Also, Pashinyan instructed those in attendance to this consultation to continue the discussions and ensure the interoperability of the 2021 draft state budget with some other strategic documents.
