The Central Bank of Armenia is unequivocally succeeding in keeping the working styles and operation of various credit organizations under control. This is what Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia Nerses Yeritsyan said during parliamentary hearings entitled “Issues related to the application of penalties, fines and loan interest rates for loans and other expired obligations, amnesty for them and other credit-related issues in the banking system of Armenia and held in parliament today, responding to a question from co-founder and member of the “No to Credit Robbery” initiative Hovhannes Harutyunyan.

According to Yeritsyan, the Central Bank has a group of professionals, and if they detect certain violations, they will apply strict sanctions against the particular credit organization.
