Human rights activist Ruben Melikyan today posted the following on his Facebook page:

“I am making my own plan for the solution to the crisis in the Constitutional Court public:

Step 1: Hold a session of the National Assembly tomorrow and, in four hours, make an amendment to the Constitution, replacing the words “President of the Constitutional Court” with “Prime Minister of the Constitutional Court” throughout the text.

Step 2: The ‘people’s candidate’ for Prime Minister of the Constitutional Court goes to a nearby square and resolutely announces the following: “Either I will be elected Prime Minister of the Constitutional Court or the Constitutional Court will not have a Prime Minister.”

Step 3: The ‘people’s candidate’ is elected Prime Minister of the Constitutional Court.

Step 4: The National Assembly adopts a procedural decision stating that the crisis in the Constitutional Court is over.

The end.

P.S.: The legitimate judges of the Constitutional Court are Alvina Gyulumyan, Hrant Nazaryan and Felix Tokhyan.”
