Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan continues to hold phone talks with his foreign counterparts.

The government’s press service reports that today the Prime Minister held phone talks with his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau.

Prime Minister Pashinyan provided details about the hostilities going on in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and the current situation in the region. He also called Trudeau’s attention to Turkey’s destructive involvement in the hostilities and the country’s unacceptable ambitions to establish itself in the South Caucasus.

Pashinyan expressed gratitude to Canada for suspending exports of military products to Turkey and underscored the fundamental significance of the unobstructed application of the right of nations to self-determination with respect to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Canada’s Prime Minister expressed deep concern over the created situation and attached great importance to the need for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
