The hour of international recognition of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) has sounded. Especially the Armenian diaspora, with its campaigning and relatively broad opportunities, is called to keep the “flag” of Artsakh recognition high. Catholicos Aram I of the Armenian Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia stressed this in his circular letter to the dioceses and prelacies of the Catholicosate.

"Indeed, any step of recognition by cities, states, and organizations can bring its important contribution to the international community’s recognition of Artsakh's independence," also reads the Facebook page of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia.

Aram I instructed the heads of the Catholicosate’s dioceses and prelacies, national organizations, and related bodies to work consistently for the international recognition of Artsakh.

At the same time, the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia reminded that, "We must continue our full and unconditional support to the Armenian Army by all practical means."

It is also noted that Aram I, in his contacts with religious leaders, inter-church structures and organizations, will continue to attach great importance to the issue of recognition of Artsakh.
