Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Jeyhun Bayromov will be in Washington on Friday. There is no trilateral meeting yet, they will meet with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo separately. International Studies expert Suren Sargsyan wrote about this on Facebook.

"I don’t know about you, but I have no expectations [from this meeting]. But I repeat: Washington must support Moscow's efforts [to end the current hostilities at the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone]. I hope organizing a separate meeting has a pre-election logic for the Trump administration, and is not a parallel one to Moscow's efforts. I don’t want to believe that separate efforts are being made, as they may crisscross. Now both us and the [OSCE Minsk Group] co-chairs need unity," Sargsyan added.
